Install Centering Hub on Any Pro Player Module
Caution - Please review the following items before beginning.
The centering hub of the CD Pro is a press-fit device. Adhesives, like cyanoacrylate (Superglue), should never be used to install a centering hub. Aggressive adhesives are messy and emit fumes that can damage the focal lens of the CD Pro. There two small slots on the centering hub. These slots are opposite each other and facilitate easy removal using two 2mm screwdrivers. Set the player on a flat, sturdy surface. Insert a 2mm screwdriver into the slots opposite each other on the centering hub.
Pull up on the ends of the two screwdrivers. This ensures that the pressure is placed on the center of the turntable, using the edges of the centering hub as the fulcrum.
To remove the hub, gently lift it off the center post.
Position the new hub squarely on top of the center post.
Using both hands, gently press the new hub into place until it is snug to the turntable.
Take care not to use too much pressure, but make certain that the new hub is seated firmly in place with no gap between the hub and the turntable. Installation complete. It’s just that easy.
